EAN 128 Introduction

EAN 128 is also named UCC 128, GS1-128. GS1-128 uses a series of Application Identifiers to include additional data such as dates, batch numbers, quantities and so on. The encode data include Standard ASCII characters and Extended ASCII characters.

Download the Terrek.Microsoft Excel GS1-128 barcode generator and unzip it.
Open the setup file and click next, until to done.
Open your Microsoft Excel, click start button and choose Excel option, on the left side of document, please select add-ins, find the Terrek.Excel 2007 Addin, click it and click ok.
Open the Microsoft Excel again, you will find the encoding add-ins under the Add-ins tab.
Click the Add-ins tab, the barcode control panel is in the drop down menu.
Click on the panel button, the Excel panel appears on the right ride of the document.
Select the barcode type of GS1-128, input the barcode data. The GS1-128 is generated in your Microsoft Excel successfully.

GS1-128 size settings

The size settings include image width, image height, bar width, bar height, Text Margin, Left Margin, Right Margin, Top Margin and Bottom Margin. All of these parameters have default value, but you can change them to meet your needs.

GS1-128 text settings

The human readable text can be enabled and disabled in Microsoft Excel. The default value is enabled, it you do not want it show in the document, you can choose false option.

GS1-128 image settings

Rotate setting: the rotate orientation can be 0, 90, 180 and 270.
Resolution setting: you may type the resolution in dpi as you want.
Color setting: including the color of background, foreground and text color. The default color is white, black and black respectively, but you can change them to maximize your barcode.
